35mm reduction prints are taken from the center of the negative using an area of 1.619" x .865".
Note:Anamorphic prints manufactured by Technicolor for the first 35mm release of "Ben-Hur" used a "letterbox" technique and a projector aperture dimension of .673 x .839, yielding a 2.5:1 screen ratio.
