SUPER TECHNIRAMA 70 - Technicolor's large format version of Todd-AO was introduced with substantial ballyhoo to the press and public with the release of the incredibly unremarkable Solomon and Sheba in October, 1959. This booklet was made available wherever the film ran in a roadshow engagement. While Technirama and its 70mm blowup version were exceptionally good systems, the reader might detect a bit of the typical expedient exaggeration one came to expect when the latest wide screen system was introduced. Exaggerated or not, it's a fun piece of nostalgia.

The large format booklet has been reproduced entirely in graphics to retain the look of the original. Readers with extremely slow connections may have to be patient as each page or pair of pages loads.
