Here's a typical ticket order flyer for This Is Cinerama at the Century Theatre in Minneapolis, Minnesota, circa 1960. Ticket prices may seem low, even for a film that was already eight years old, but standard films were still getting under $1.00 for an adult ticket to a first run movie. Advanced prices running up over $2.50 had existed for prestige films dating back into the mid 1920s but that was still considered way beyond the means of the average movie theatre attendee well over 40 years later.
